Our Mission
The Well seeks to offer restored life to everyone in our community through offering the Hope of the Gospel, a community of friends, and access to resources.
We seek to develop healthy, restorative relationships with the people in our city who need a community of support the most. We believe no one should walk alone, and we are stronger when we can encourage one another and share our burdens. The Well hosts community building events designed to create safe places for people to connect with one another and have access to resources. We do this through our three core programs - Family Village, The LoveWell Center, and The Network - as well as other special events throughout the year.
What We Believe
We believe in the one true God and his son Jesus Christ. We believe true restoration, both physically and spiritually, is only found in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that it is the job of the church to care for our city. We strive to create opportunities to show gospel love and display the hope of Christ in everything that we do.
We believe every human being is an image bearer of Christ and therefore has innate dignity and value given by God. We believe every person is created with abilities, skills, talents, and the innate desire to create and participate in life.
We believe poverty is not just a lack of things. It is the result of broken relationships that affect all of us—poor and non-poor alike. Real change only happens as Jesus heals these broken relationships.
