Family Village is a community around adoption and foster care. This community advocates for the unique needs of children and families walking through either of these experiences.
Throughout the year, we host community-building events as well as assist families with a variety of practical resources. We have a strong partnership with the Department of Children and Family Services through which we co-host trainings, celebrate social workers, and meet the needs of local families.
Through Family Village, The Well is a partner in The First Lady of Louisiana’s Foster Louisiana Initiative which seeks to develop more community involvement in the foster care system of Louisiana.

We would love to connect with you! We want you to be a part of this village! ! We have meals and resources available. You can fill out a resource form for yourself or another family.

Want to be part of the village?
You don’t have to take a child into your home to be involved in foster care. We believe it takes a village! Here are a few ways that you can get involved:
Join our “Go Team.” You will be the first to know when a need arises for a family! Contact us to join the Go Team.
Prepare a freezer meal. We love to bless families with a meal, especially when a new foster placement arrives. Contact us to coordinate drop off.
