Trust-Based Relational Interventions®
Developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross at the TCU Institute of Child Development, Trust-Based Relational Interventions® (TBRI®) is an emerging intervention model for a wide range of childhood behavioral problems. It is a family-based intervention that is designed for children who have experienced relationship-based traumas such as institutionalization, multiple foster placements, maltreatment, and/or neglect.
Confessions of an adoptive parent
Confessions of an Adoptive Parent is the place where Mike & Kristin Berry do their best to offer hope for families in the trenches. They seek to help weary adoptive & foster parents find the support & validation they need to regain hope and finally stop feeling alone. Kristen and Mike have been married almost 17 years and are raising 8 amazing children, all of whom have been adopted. In addition to being adoptive parents, they have also served as foster parents for 8 years.
