The LoveWell Center is a membership-based resource center that gives members the opportunity to build community and earn physical resources they need by attending classes and programs designed to move individuals toward restored life. Earned credits can be used to shop for groceries or wash clothes in the laundromat.
We track points for the members of The LoveWell Center through our membership database. These points are earned through attending and participating in classes and events and various opportunities to serve at The LoveWell Center. These points can be used to purchase food, gas cards, access our laundry facilities, and more.
We currently host five weekly classes for our members to attend. These classes include Bible Study, Exercise Class, New Skills Class, Art Class, and Mental Wellness Class. In addition, we host a Lunch & Bingo Hour twice a month to provide a place for community building.
Through The LoveWell Center, we are building meaningful relationships with friends in our city who are experiencing material poverty. We believe that poverty is much more than a lack of things, we hope to celebrate the dignity and worth of each of our friends that visit The LoveWell Center.
